    Exporting Blues

    Hello everyone,

I'm an experienced filmmaker but terrible avid user (apparently).

Question:  I would like to export a medium/low quality video from a sequence I've just finished.  I wanted to post it to a Dropbox so I'm curious if anyone knows the stepby step?

So far I've been trying Export ---->  Fast Quicktime NTSC -----> Options ----> and then from there I get lost.  No clue which codec I should use under "Export As"  although so far I've tried Exporting As quicktime (yieleded a huge video file of 17gigs) and AAF which errored saying I could only use the Link to option since there was Apple Pro Res...

    This is a mouthful.

    Any suggestions?

    good info, to understand "exporting".

you can use also qt_ref and squeeze to make a h264_file.
