Avid Marquee Tool, type on effect, Help

I've used the type on effect in Avid Marquee, it's great. but...

When it finishes typing the text on, it disapears. Avid will not let me put a freeze frame on, or extend the clip out, so i obviously need to make the effect last for say, 3/4 of the clip length so that it 'types it on' and then leaves the words up for around 10 seconds...

Does anyone know how to do this?

    Ta!

    Brad

    Brad,

    Are you keyframing the animation?

Re: Avid Marquee Tool, type on effect, Help

    Hello,
I once tried to type on the Marque, but not in the script version was a mistake. I started using Avid FX as described here. I stayed at it. I suppose that in the Marque can set keyframes on the timeline.

    Select the "Animate" button.

Before you run the type on script, mark an in and an out on the MArquee Timeline for the duration that you want the effect to take.
