    Export crashing on MC 6

    Hi,

I am trying to export a 15 minute file and the project keeps crashing.  The file is a Link to AMA ProRes 422 file and I want to export 1:1 to ProRes 422.  I am exporting custom and selecting the ProRes 422 from the drop down box.  If I try a one minute section it does work however.

Is there a way to export without having to convert to a quick time reference and using sorenson squeeze as it seems like I have to purcahse the ProRes Codec (unless I am wrong about this).

    Can anyone help?

    Sameer

Do a try if the file fast imports instead of ama linking it, then export Same as Source .

    Hi Mjoinan,

Do you mean an import as a ProRes 422 Proxy (Mxf) or something different to that, as my deliverable is a ProRes 422 file?

    Thanks,

    Sameer

Just select the same import codec as the origin file, it should fast import with the correct settings if the codec is supported.

If it fast imports it´s just rewrapped to Avid mxf without being changed in any way, export SAS will keep the same codec and file structure.
