How to transcode DPX 10B 444 from Gemini/C500 into proxy with Lut

    Hello

Every things are in the title...

exept that i try to do it with MetaFuze and something is wrong with my way to do it.

I can actually open DPX from the Gemini.

I can transcode file in Mxf format and send an ALE file into MediaComp.

But when i try to relink the mxf, Avid tell me that "i can't import the file into a bin".

    Any helps are welcome.

    Thanks,

I use Resolve. (Resolve light is free)

Open the Gemini DPX and put them on a Resolve timeline, add your LUT and render to DNxHD 36 clips (you can send your renders directly into an Avid MediaFiles\MXF\"number" folder) Export an AAF of the Resolve timeline. In Avid import the AAF and edit.

Renders here including LUT almost real time on an older MacPro

An AAF export of your timeline when imported back into Resolve can be linked to the original DPX files

Hi, I think it is becase mxf files can't be directly import into Avid. Why do you try a MXF Converter to help you?

Afte creating the files in MetaFuze, you should not (and cannot) import the resulting MXF files, but rather add them to your Avid MediaFiles folder.
