MC 6.5 Project format differ from the record format, import options?

I have a video material from the EOS 500D Canon camera that was recorded in HD format (1920x1080) but with 20p / sek. I am cutting with AVID 6.5 version and cannot find an option to create the project with these settings. I have choosen the project format with 25p. But when I import, the video looks horrible. Is there any possibility to eather:
    - create a projekt with 20p and 1920x1080 in AVID or
    - to transform my raw material to 24p or 25p format?

by the way: wich codec (video resolution) should I shoose while importing this raw material (I assume, it was  recorded with H264 codec, unfortunately noone can figure it out): DV25p 411 MXF? Have someone any experience to importing this format without or at least with minimum quality losses?

    I will appreciate any help!

    ninok:

MC does not allow projects in 20 fps. Only the possibility of using the console command to force reading AMA fps (but I can not remember now, I'll find it). Material will then play rapidly, but you can apply the Timewarp effect and try different settings.

Try to use the MediaInfo - 99% find details codec.
DV25p 411 is SD codec H264 for 90% HD codec. Use the HD project.

I'm sorry, but I would really appreciate your help again.

When importing the video file, It's weird, but I cannot reach the same color quality. In import settings I have tested both: computer RGB (0-255) and 709 (16-235), the last one is much more better than RGB but I still don't  have the same saturated picture as on the raw material. Is there any other import options I can't figure out?

    V., thank you in andvance!!!
