Issues Grouping Clips shot at 23.98 edited in 59.94

I am AE on a series shooting at 23.98 and delivering at 59.94 for TV.

    BACKGROUND

In prepartation for the edit I am loading footage in a 23.98 project and then opening the bins in the 59.94 project and saving the clips into 59.94 bins. We want to edit in the 59.94 project rather then the 23.98 load project so that all the timing remains consistent to hit our broadcast marks.

    PROBLEM

When I go to make group clips of 23.98 footage in the 59.94 project Avid errors out and says:

"Group clip frame rate (23.976) does not match project frame rate (29.97). A group clip can be loaded only if it is the same rate as the sequences. Load the master clip or the subclip instead of the group."

    FIXES ATTEMPTED

I have attempted to group the 23.98 footage in the 23.98 project and bring the group clips over to the 59.94 project.

I have attempted to group the 23.98 footage in the 59.94 project.

I have read the forums and come across some weird fixes that I don't really like.

    ADDITIONAL INFO

We are editing DNX-115/DNX-145 full res to avoid relinking in the conform because we have a very tight turnaround time on each episode. Not sure if this has any bearing on the problem.

I don't get that. If you cut at 23.976 but make your Master timecode 30DF, you should be OK on hitting your broadcast marks. Also, you will end up with a master sequence (and/or master tape) that has consistent pulldown.
