    Hi Tugger,

    Tugger:
Which begs the unanswerable question; any idea when the new app might be released?

I do not have an ETA on the new AppMan, as soon as I found out anything I will update you guys.

    Good luck,

Re: Support Plan Warning keeps popping up

I have two MC licenses that I renewed a couple of weeks ago but I also keep getting emails from

    Avid <no-reply-mkto@avid.com>

telling me (in German) that my support plan is ending at that I need to renew.  I emailed back at

    emearenewals@avid.com

asking what that is about but didn't get an answer.  When I log onto my account, it says both licenses are OK until the end of 2016.  So what to do - panic or just relax and sit it out?

    Cheers,

    Vincent

Same thing happening here. Renewed 3 weeks ago and still getting "Support Expiring" messgaes from App Manager and also via emaail. Happening with both Media Composer and Pro Tools. Very annoying.

Same here - bought a new support plan today, in my master account everything is fine (exp. by the end of 2016) but the app manager still says "support plan will expire" and I get those mails too (in German and in English).

@DSmithLIC, billythecutter as long as the Avid Master Account expiration date appears correctly just ignore the warning and the email, this is a known issue bug# IT-4894, the next release of AppMan will addressed this issue.

    Got this from support:

    - quit the Application Manager process and Application Manager Helper process from Activity Monitor

    - please delete: C:\ProgramData\Avid\AppManager\Cache C:\ProgramData\Avid\AppManager\Db

    - install the last version of Application Manager 2.4.5 http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/user_guide/Avid-Application-Manager-Documentation

    - start Application Manager and the inform should be updated C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Application Manager

Re: Support Plan Warning keeps popping up

Been having countless warnings as well. Had a support case for it, telling me everything is ok, payments are done. Also got an email "subscription recurring payment succes". However warnings keep popping up. This morning I got "your support plan is expiring today", which is a quite scary and confusing. Autorenewal is ON. What's going to happen now?

Re: Support Plan Warning keeps popping up

TO ALL YOU GUYS WITH THIS ISSUE:

After finding I had the same problem, the great and wonderful Marianna hooked me up with Customer Support. By phone, we uninstalled-reinstalled, several times, inclusing the AppMan and MC. We reset the data base multiple times, all to no avail. Customer Support, eventually (after 4 days of trying various things) determined that the Avid license data base was corrupted. After Avid corrected their database; and, I reloaded my local database, the problem was resolved. This was all an error in the Avid database; and, not a problem at the local (my computer) level. The problem initiated on license renewal in 2015; and, propagated to my license renewal in 2016, when the error warnings started.

Ok MC still working today. Still one thing to worry about, on my master account is says "3 Days Left !". While the Time Period is 'May 20, 2015 - May 19, 2016', which was yesterday.. Confused

Re: Support Plan Warning keeps popping up

As a follow-up, despite all warnings about things expiring I got an email my annual subscription payment was processed. Phew! 2 Days later the application manager gave a notification "Media Composer will expire tomorrow". Doh!

But luckily everything is still working.

I guess @cuervo is right about avids databases being corrupted for some of us. Let's hope this will not happen again next year, it's scary when you are -as we all are- in the middle of a big project..
