Crash on Audio Effect Mode Window

I purchased some plug-ins for MOTU Digital Performer yesterday and after installing them I find Media Composer 7.0.5 crashes on start-up upon reaching "Initializing Audio Effect Mode Window".

I've gone into HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins and removed anything that isn't Waves (which have always worked) or Avid.  Still I crash.  I get a "Avid Media Composer quit unexpectedly" message with details and I'd be happy to share it if I knew how!

    Otherwise, any thoughts?

Re: Crash on Audio Effect Mode Window

Dontcha love answering your own question?

As soon as I typed AudioSuite in the last post, i checked out the DigiDesign folder in Library.  There were the offending plug-ins.  I removed them, and voila.

They were a suite called T-Racks CS (Custom Shop) which worked fine in Digital Performer, but in MC not so much.  FYI.
