MFX OP1a transcoded with adobe media encoder

    Hi

I transcode a lot of footage with media encoder CC 2015.

When I try to AMA link MXF OP1a transcoded with media encoder in Media composer 5.5.5 I have no sound.

I have 8 mono empty tracks with no sound Hmm

I have tried to AMA link with Media composer 8.5 and it works great.

I run the last version of AMA MXf plugin (1.4.1)

Does anybody have encountered this issue on media composer 5.5.5 ?

Re: MFX OP1a transcoded with adobe media encoder

    Hi

sorry to take so many time to reply

I invistaged a little bit more and tried many setting in media encoder.

Forget about the sound issue, It seems that the MXF OP1a genereted by media encoder CC 2015 is not compatible with the AMA MXF plugin ver 1.4.1 (Which is the last update for Media composer 5.5.5).

it gives me error when I tried to AMA link.

it works fine on Media composer 8.5

Does anybody has the same issue on media composer 5.5.5 ?

Is there any trik to go arround this issue ?

    thanks

In the video tab in media encoder there is a section called Advanced MXF Settings. Try to set Edit Units Per Partition to Custom: 240.

I don't know exactly what that means but it works here ;-)

No, you're right there is a setting called Edit Units Per Partition but it's already set to default 240 :(

Re: MFX OP1a transcoded with adobe media encoder

Have you tried setting it to custom? I'm sure that the number 240 has no effect when Default is selected.

Try to change the number to anything else and then click Default... The number is not changed.
