    Import image problem

    Hi,
I created a lower third with Photoshop CC 2017 using video settings 1080p 1920x1080. Then in a new amc project, 1080i/50, I tried to import the images, but it's blurred like below.

    Could you help me?

    Thank you
    Regards

At the bottom of the timeline window, is the display set to all yellow, yellow/green, or all green?

Is the background video blurred as well? What is the video resolution for the imported graphics?

When you hit PLAY, is it still blurred?

Graphics often look blurred while paused if you're in an interlaced project, on your progressive computer monitors.

The display icon is all green. The problem is present also during the reproduction, while the video it's ok.

And when you imported the graphic into Media Composer, you would have had to specify a video resolution. Which one did you select?

I would try exporting your graphic as a .png from Photoshop and importing that.

If you have time maybe try an uncompressed .tif.  I THINK they have a different import codec to .psd (or rather I have not seen anyone complain about blurry imags with tiffs.

Can you post your source graphic somewhere?

Can we go back to the way audio nodes used to be selected? Please? ie if you have audio nodes at the same time on selected tracks; then selecting 1 audio node selects them all at that time. Having to shift select nodes or add an in and out is time consuming and counter productive. At least make it an option.

Here's how they look on my system. I don't have an external monitor at home, so this is what they look like on my laptop screen with full screen playback turned on.

I used the same project and import settings as you. I see the same cut off tops and bottoms of letters (it's most obvious on the while P, R, and O on the red background). I'm not a graphics expert, but does anyone think it could be that the letters are too thin? Maybe try it with a different font (if you can) and see if you get the same problem.
