    Hi Phil

    Could you post the logs for App Manager please?  or send them to me via email?  Address below

    We've seen instances where the connection to FNC isn’t being made. (Where the updates are posted). In those cases, there would be errors logged in the logs indicating this.

    Logs could come from either of these locations:

         • Mac: /Library/Logs/Avid/AppManager

         • Win: C:\ProgramData\Avid\Support\Logs

    Would be helpful to also get output of the Activity History (under preferences) if possible

    Here's her reply to me:

    ' The team had found an error with the MC 8.8.5 update on our servers and have made a change to how the update would get pushed through.

    The update should now make itself available with the next Sync account.

    Please give that a try.'

    It worked!

    Although NOT A SIMPLE RE-SYNC, I had to CLEAR THE CACHE (in App Man Preferences) again and then it finally showed the 8.8.5 update.

    Updated and all working!

    I see the App Man got an update to 17.5.1 too!

     

    (Unfortunately, I didn’t think to get a screen grab of the App Man showing the ‘Update’ screen. Now it just shows that I have 8.8.5 and (the dreaded) ‘Open’. Hope it works properly next time there’s an update.)

    The App Man gets updated when you update MC to 8.8.5
