Hi
Everytime I launch Licence manager I get a Startup Error and I can't open it. It's called "Startup Error" and then says "An error has occurred during startup:" then a whole load of stuff that seems to refer to Java. Any ideas appreciated. (It had been working previously and I don't know what I've done different since)
Thanks, Paul

i'm having the same problem
which version? MC \ First s a new version came out today which is derived from MC v8.9.2 which was also released today.
Might be worth uninstalling the one you have and installing that one.
What OS are you on an does your system meet the specifications listed here:

I'm having exactly the same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it was fine for a few weeks and now it's started again. It means I can't use Media Composer First at all and I get this annoying error message permanently on my screen. Windows 10 64 bit with 8Gb RAM.
Paul
Any updates to the OS occur like service patches or anything? Is the application on the internal drive and is anything like PT first or PT on that drive as well.....
was there an answer to this problem? I am experiencing the same each time my computer loads.
I still havent found one myself :(
Me neither. Always this error message. iLok license manager does not appear as an option in "add or remove programmes", although it's in the slidebar options through the windows symbol in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. So perhaps I can't remove it? Or have removed it before but the icon is lingering on?My system is a ThinkPad T430 with intel Core i53320M 2.6GHz processorup8Gig installed RAMSeagate Expansion 1TB external hard drive with next to nothing on itWindows 10 proSo up to spec as far as I'm aware.Having almost completed the "optimise windows 10 for focuswrite" video, I'm still getting bad latency despite the direct monitor. Is there anything you could suggest to help please?
Hi Marianna,
I'm experiencing the same problem as the others. Can you help me? I'm only working with Sibelius. I installed a cumulative Windows 10 update today (Version 1709 for x64 systems), and it occurred after that.
Cheers, Manu

what version of MC First? There is a new one as of yesterday 2018.2
I don't use Media Composer, it's not installed on my computer. Just Sibelius 7 and the Avid Application Manager.
