    Move Clips up and down

Is there any short cut, to stop overwriting any track you step thru. ie moving audio tracks up in to a Pro Tool export. Loving the move keys duplicating is easy but I would prefer to only over right the track you are going to...stupid question sorry. TIA.

MC 8.9.3 supports that function.  You can map it to your keyboard, or put an icon for up and down in the bar above your timeline, depending on how you like to edit.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks Denny,

I just thought there would be a way to move, ie: say V6 to V1 without over writting V5 to V2 in the process.

Thought there maybe a shift or alt option to allow this...Harry

Re: Move Clips up and down

    Hi Harry,

The short answer is NO, none that I am aware of.  You can, however, select multiple tracks to move up and down to create a space for new video.  Don't know if this might be of some help.
