Hello out there and thx for reading! :)I just installed the media composer first. Everything went well, including registration and (free) licensing process. But when starting the media composer app, the project window is not visible at all! First I thought the software is frozen or locked, but after a while I found out through random mouse clicks in the composer area that the project window does exist but is not visible, so after a while I managed to create a project and open it. From there on everything is okay. But restarting the media composer still lets the problem occure. Any ideas?
Best regards,
Janko
P.s.: I'm using a Windows 10 pro PC dual screen I7 core, 16 GB RAM.
Hi janko,
Looks like GPU related problem, what is the specs of the GPU?
Thanks, RalphC
Are you using Media Composer | First or the full version of Media Composer? I ask because you're describing what sounds like First, but you've added that bold apology about posting in the wrong forum, and then tried to post a duplicate in the forum for the full version of Media Composer.

Hi, comscato,
I am using Media Composer | First. After I posted my described issue here I recognized the posting of TVJohn (http://community.avid.com/forums/t/133603.aspx) in this forum, so I tried to delete this thread (in which I obviously didn't succeed) and followed after his link concerning media composer PC problems, didn't know that this is also wrong. So where is the right place to post this issue now? Regards,
Hi, RalphC,
thanks for your answere. The Graphics is a really really old DVI VGA integrated INTEL HD resolution (Intel Graphics 3000) GPU, never had problems with it (also used Lightworks and ShotCut for a while). About a year ago I installed the media composer full version for trial and it worked well. Don't think the graphics could be the issue, but who knows? Maybe a suggestion concerning the graphics configuration? Thank you so far,

Ah, I see what you mean. Unfortunately, that post from TVJohn is no longer valid, and should be deleted. This thread you've posted in the correct place, and there's no need for another one in a different forum. I apologize for the confusion, and I'll ask the mods for this forum to delete the warning that misled you.
This issue still hasn't been solved. It is the same as here:

I also have this problem. Could someone please take a look at it?
Tom
