    MC 2018.4 Mac Full Screen Playback bug

    p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Verdana; -webkit-text-stroke: #000000} span.s1 {font-kerning: none}

    I've confirmed this on a clean build with new user settings. Mac OS 10.12.6.

    We have a Mac Pro Late 2013 cylinder with dual 1080p monitors. You used to be able to change the Full Screen Playback display using the Setting in MC (drag the window to the appropriate monitor and hit the button to select it). Now it appears that the software disregards that setting, defaulting to using the "primary" Mac display. This is the same behavior for progress bar dialogs that pop up on screen etc.

    The problem with this is that while you're in full screen playback mode, if the Avid happens to Autosave bins and the progress bar pops up, it breaks full screen playback until you exit the mode and go back into it. It's just an annoying bug and easily worked around, but I have one editor who insists on a short autosave interval and it's driving him nuts.

    Thanks for looking into it.

    Re: MC 2018.4 Mac Full Screen Playback bug

    Try to move your project window on the other screen, I think it's connected to that somehow, probably a bug.

    all different setups in various editing suites. my own: MC 2018.2, OSX 10.12.6, iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017), 4,2 GHz Intel Core i7, 40GB RAM, Radeon... [view my complete system specs]
