A case has already been submitted, but just in case other run into this:
We have 3 DNxIO Media Composers and I upgraded to Destkop Video 10.10.1 from the Avid Downloads page. This works fine for 4K (UHD), but when I went to a 1080p2997 project, the video outs lock to "1080p2997 3D" which causes the HDMI output to display split-screen 3D images. Top to bottom. Cannot change any settings to cause this to go away. A solid problem. This occurred on two different systems.
The only way to fix this was to roll back to Desktop Video 10.9.11.
FYI
Marc
Seems like the 10.10.1 driver was released too early. It is not intended to be used with MC versions 2018.5 and below.
We'll have to wait until MC 2018.6 is releaed.

Hi Marianna,
03491351 - I saw another posting here that this version will work with 2018.6, but not with .5 - which is what we are using.
Thanks,Marc
Trying to run that to ground as if that is correct it should be noted on the DL center
Post from Jeremy Kezer on the Avid | Artist Forum:
Rihafilm,
Apologies for the confusion, but Desktop Video 10.10.1 is not intended for use with Media Composer 18.5.0, but should be used with Media Composer releases after MC 18.5.0. For MC 18.5 you should stick with Desktop Video 10.9.11.
The note on the download center is incorrect and I'll have it updated.
Thanks,
Jeremy
