    Quicktime Export Corruption

    Hi guys

I have a client working with two of our Media Composer systems attached via Ethernet to a Nexis Pro. They are experiencing issues on both machines when they try to export a 22 minute long timeline. This is what they have said:

"Whenever we make quicktime exports in 1280x720/ 5000kb/s h.264 that are shorter than 5 minutes we have no problems. We do a lot of these length exports due to the nature of the sketches.  We use this size and data rate for the performers when recording the audio at the Audio Post House so they can match lip sync.

But when i try to export a whole 22 minute episode the QuickTime becomes corrupt on both Avids.

To troubleshoot we have done the following which still produces corrupt Quicktime exports

    - Render the entire sequence

    - Create an Audio and Video Mixdown

    - Restart the Avid and only have Avid Media Composer on for the export

What does work fairly consistently is having a 1024x576 3000kb/s H.264 but we would like the higher data rate and frame size"

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks in advance.
