Importing AAF from one Avid to another Avid

I can find lots of guidance to Export but not Import, maybe I#m using the wrong terminology?

Set your media creations to where you want your media to go(if there is any).  Make a new bin.  Drag and drop the AAF into the new bin.

    Hi Roger,

make sure to copy the MediaFiles-folder delivered with the aaf onto your MediaFile-Disk (be aware of the folder structure). Maybe there is a already a mdb/pmr inside, but I would say you have to scan it (let MC do the job).

If you are in an ISIS/Nexis environment make sur you have the right naming for the folder, so your MC can see and scan it.

After the scan, your files should be online.

    so long & thx
