    Timewarp from Hell

    Hi there, fellow Avid users.

Today a Collegue and I where trying to sync some material. The video was running away from the audio, so when the first frame was sync, the last one wasn't. We tried to find the offset by using the Trim-to-Fill effect with the image below as a result. It's a beautiful symmetric image. When you zoom in the Timewarp-window, you can see that the speed varies from 99% to 101% in irregular steps: 2 frames 99%, 3 frames 101%, 1 frame 99% and so on.

Has anybody seen this before and does anybody know why this is happening?

Is your problem clip using Frameflex?

From latest release notes, I just noticed this:

    BUG FIXES:
This release addresses 18 bugs since the last release, including:

    - You could not successfully apply a Trim to Fill Timewarp effect on clips with FrameFlex.
