4 camera clips synchronized on a realtime timeline

    Hello,

I had a 4 synchronised cameras realisation in reporter style. Each camera man was stopping his camera, so I've got a lot of clips from ich camera. I'd like to create a timeline with a real TC, showing when the camera operator was recording and when was a break. So the timeline would be an time axis and on V1, V2, V3, V4 I would have each camera or a milticamera. It would show me synchronised clips to a timeline. Is it possible to create such timeline witch sync clips automaticly?

    Regards

    Greg

    Hi Greg,

    This might work:

    1. Select all the clips from camera 1

    2. From the Clip menu, select Autosequence

This will make a sequence from all the Camera 1 clips, spacing them out by timecode and leaving gaps when the camera wasn't rolling.

    3. Repeat 1 & 2 for cameras 2-4

Now you should have 1 sequence for each camera. You can then use each sequence as a source to make the timeline you want. You'll have to sync the start of each sequence yourself.

    I hope that helps.

    Thanks,

I forgot to write that I've got a dongle 8.4.1 MC version.... I don't see Autosequence command in Clip menu... Is there another solution?

    Thank you

    Hi Greg,

In older versions it might be under the Bin menu rather than the clip menu.
