Yep. Basically, When you install the AMA pugin...you get the Panasonic plugins manager...you activate the trial or perm license through that

    Re: EMERGENCY - AVC Long-GOP High422 (HD720p) Crashing System

Just to let you guys know, I installed the P2 Plug-in Manager and installed:

    Re-Link v4.9.0.1 for Avid

    AVCIntra Export

    AVCLongG Export

    AVCLongG Import

I put them all in trial mode (which works for 30 days).  I link to the AVC Long-GOP High422 (HD720p) MXF files and then when I try to play one, Avid gets the same error.  No luck fixing this issue yet.

Adobe Media Encoder can use them, so I turned them into prores.

I am going to investigate Drastic Media Reactor ama Plugin next.

I also tried to consolidate these linked AMA files.  No luck.

    Re: EMERGENCY - AVC Long-GOP High422 (HD720p) Crashing System

Now that my project is over, I did some more research.  Avid and Adobe see the file like this:

AVID SOURCE BROWSER SEES: CODEC: AVC Long-GOP High422 (HD720p) PLUG-IN:  MSP_MXF Plug-in KIND: MXF File ONE FILE IS NAMED:  luke_tom_rinaldi_postgame_LTT_with_Jalen_Hurts_(has_bug)___WilliaLu___00_15_00_00___00_16_05_00.mxf ADOBE PREMIERE SEES IT (AND CAN PLAY IT): Type: MXF  File Size: 671.98 MB Image Size: 1280 x 720 Frame Rate: 59.94 Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 24 bit - 8 channels Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - 8 channels Total Duration: 00;01;11;04 Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0 MXF File details: Wrapper type: MXF OP1a (type: SingleItem SinglePackage MultiTrack Stream Internal) File generated by: Drastic, MediaReactor (5.1.0.0) AVC Long GOP High 4:2:2 Profile 10-bit Unconstrained Coding ----- Just thought I would add this info to see if it sparks any more possible solutions.  I would love to not have to use mediaencoder to use these files. Thanks again for all of your help and input on this matter.
