    Feature request/idea - Media Video Cache to NVME

    Its hard to say just how helpful increasing my video cache in media composer is (I have 128gb and set to 96gb)

    What If we could also cache to NVME drives?  The performance is insane on these things.

    1tb is $300...

    nothing is faster than your system RAM (the CPU cache RAM is but you can't access that easily)

    SO using the system RAM will be wat faster than NVME drives (and data on those will go via a RAM cahce anyway)

    Having your media files on an NVME drive will have a big saving in data tyransfer times over say a SATA drive.
