Hello, the history of my problem:
1) Used Sibelius 7.1.3 (Educational special when purchased.)
2) Upgraded to 7.5 - thought I was getting free upgrade to 7.5 - created many files using it
3) Discovered it was only a 30 day free trial and cannot access/save those files now
4) Signed up for Sibelius Ultimate - Standard Support & Upgrade Plan, 3 years $399
5) Can't get the new Sibelius activated. When I try to open it I get...
a. Welcome to Sibelius - and I choose to "activate"
b. Application Manager opens - I put in my new System ID and Activation code
c. I get two messages:
1. Please restart Sibelius to activate
2. Activation failed. Prior product is not correct for the upgrade license.
d. When I try to restart Sibelius as requested, I get the same things. And round and around we go.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I'm getting quite frustrated!

I would be glad to create a case for my activation issue. I think I already have a case number but I am getting nowhere fast with that.
