    not able to import a jpg from photoshop with a alpha

    I am having trouble getting a jpg to import with a alpha channel the photo is a cut out from photo shop I have checked the import invert and dont invert same thing also it will not import a jpg2000 at all any thoughts

    What happens when you try? Error message, or it imports but doesn't look right?

    .jpg files do not support transparency. You need to bring files in as .psd or Tiff files with transparency.

    .jpg files do not support transparency. You need to bring files in as .psd or Tiff files with transparency.

    Duh. GT is totally right, and I'm embarassed I missed the obvious answer.

    Sorry Ive been off for a sec  I have tried to do it as a photo shop file with invert set as I have for 10 years and all I get is the alpha channel I have also tried jpg2000 .gif  and .png same thing

    And its not a huge file just 1 layer cut out
