I feel like i used to be able to this. Say I have an episode of a show, and the split out audio tracks tht go along with it, DX,SFX,MX etc. 

I put these on a timeline to sync them up. Then I want to turn that into its own clip. So for example v1 - video, A1,2,3,4 the respective audio tracks

mainly so once I start editing and need to match back - its goes to athe clip with the syncd audio and not just the video layer.

Autosync?

AutoSync should allow you to do exactly that.

Autosync is greyed out if i have all the clips and respective tracks selected in the timeline. 

just to clarify - the clips are already syncd - very simple episode and split audio track all with the same start time and duration on a timeline. 

Autosync in bin

Subsequence to a bin, making sure there are no cuts in the subsequence. Autosync the subsequence in the bin.
