    Re: Video Card

i'm not using it, & doubt you'll find that many here are.  not only is it unsupported by avid, it's a late model too.  the most recent stuff from avid has been Very picky about graphic card compliance.

hope you get what you need!

    Re: Video Card

Not to mention that the 7300 is a VERY weak card.  I had one in a computer I just bought...it was so pathetically weak that I had to upgrade it to a smoking new GeForce 7900 GT OC...which is flat-out AWESOME.  Keep in mind I don't use it for Avid (I play games with it), but I loaded Avid on the machine just for giggles and it worked fine for RT 3D.  Nowhere near as powerful as a certified Quadro-series card, but still pretty good.

    Take care.

    Re: Video Card

Thanks for the responses.  I knew it was not supported when I bought the computer, and figured I would need to upgrade, but thought I might be able to squeak by.  Thanks again.
