    Fisheye effect....

What Boris plugin get me that effect?  Just a rounded center fisheye shot.  Much like this shot...I know it may seem simple but I'm spacing out.  Bulge, perspective, z-axis????  Whaaaaat?  Thanks

the shot you posted looks as if it was done with a real fisheye lens on a camera.

You could probably do something like a bulge effect, I'm not in front of an edit system right now.

    Re: Fisheye effect....

You could do it with something like this:

    http://borisfx.com/product/continuum/avid/distortion_filters.php

Or try promoting an Avid resize to 3-D and see if bulge is still an option there.

Nope, not in there.  Hmmm, I know it's something VERY simple but I'm spacing out.  Thanks.

When you say " Nope, not in there." What do you mean?

If you drop on a pip, make it 100%, promote to 3D,  then add a buldge.

    Re: Fisheye effect....

I thought Terry was talking about bulge being an option in the 3D menu.  Why go to all the trouble of PIP and then making it 100% and then promoting it to 3D then adding a bulge?  Why not just add a bulge effect from Boris?  Thanks for the help...I'll keep trying.  Actually the Boris sphere effect came close after some tweaking.  Cheers.

    Re: Fisheye effect....

In the program motion from apple it is very simple.

Just add the effect fisheye and then take the effect down -4 %

    Very simple.

After that export it and you are done.

    See this video

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2PM-WKMBpg

To avoid the fish eye effect set the go pro on medium wide 1080p this takes out the fish eye effect.

You will get a better movie and you don't have to take out the fish eye effect in post.

Why fake it when you can create it!

    Hope this helps.
