    The operative word in the original post was for a simple process. At this point a Panasonic AVCHD camera with their free software is the easiest process. The P2 cards are natively supported and don't require an import.

     

    The consumer/prosumer cams of panasonic go up to a max of 17 Mbps. Would that not be inferior (image quality) to the high end consumer canons?

    Will I be able to edit the 1080/50p files of the Panasonic tm700 in AMC (and make nice slowmo's). Or convert them to a workable format in AMC?
