    Re: MC5 and Digi002 error - ADM_ILLEGAL_SYNCSRC

While trying to solve some capture issues, I stumbled upon something interesting. If I go into capture mode and set the audio to 002 S/PDIF, then the 002 symbol goes green showing sync. If I go back to normal editing mode, then the 002 light goes off with the usual error message - ADM_ILLEGAL_SYNCSRC.

The 002 has an S/PDIF coax in/out and an Optical in/out. The CLK output from the Mojo goes into the coax input on the 002. This seems to work (when in capture mode). If I take the coax output from the capture device (in this case a DVD player) and put that into the 002 coax input, again the 002 symbol in MC goes green.

I would appreciate it if someone from Avid could respond. It's been about 3 years and now and I was told then it would be escalated (back in June 2010).
