Avid has been frozen every time that I try to capture.  Details: Avid suggested I replace ATI raedeon card with what is in system now.  Done.

    Deck is JVC hr-dvs1u

Capture used to work fine until I upgraded to 5.0.

Deck is configured to Generic Edit-Deck-NTSC

Capture tool and deck are linked because the rewind and stop work via AVID controls.

However, Play and record do not respond and freeze AVID application.

After waiting several minutes, the color wheel of death goes away and everything is functional, but it did not capture nor play (given command I gave).

I cannot access support until sales calls me back to renew my contract.  It has been 4 consecutive days without a call back.

    Please help with any suggestions.

    Thank you,

    Oobydoobydenn
