Exception: Video signal present but not captured

    Hey

    I have a MacBook pro 2.66 gHz core i7, with 4gb ram.

I got Media Composer 5.5.1, and the latest updates on my Mac.

When I am about to capture material from a Canon MiniDV cam, a box with the message: "Exception: Video signal present but not captured", is appearing and the capturing stops.

How do I solve this issue?

The material is 16:9 and so is my project settings.

Assuming that you're in a standard def project, was the material captured in Canon's 24F (somewhat) progressive format?

MacPro, MacBook Pro and a Cube (masquerading as a kleenex dispenser). [view my complete system specs]

Must think of something clever to go here...
