    Sequence into Clip, How To

    Hello,

what is the best and quickest way to turn a sequence into a simple clip element? I'm working on a bumper sequence for a series of video features.

Currently, I'm doing video, audio mixdown, then group clips. If there's a better way, that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

Sounds like you found the best way by using video / audio mixdown,

I can't think of another way.

Are you then grouping because you want to use the clips like a multicamera edit ??

Thanks. I'm doing mixdown-grouping to simply make them manageable and clean on the timeline.

I'm just wondering if there's a simpler command/trick in doing this.

In this case you could also "collapse" clips. "Collapse" only applies to video tracks, not to audio tracks (so it still requires an audio mixdown). To safe this to a bin you have to make it a sub-sequence - so it actually handles like a sequence but only with 1 "clip" in it.
