    Problems RE-linking RED footage in Avid 5.5.1. .. possible Avid MediaFiles folder was deleted or moved. ..

    does anybody know about re-transcoding red footage in red cineX and adding i int to the AVID MeidaFiles folder, so media from a project can be online instead of saying media offline?

    Haven't used that workflow for ages now as MC can do it all internally.

    But as long as the workflows done right the sequence should just need re-linking once you have confirmed MC has re-built the media databases and the newly transcoded clips can be seen by Avid.
