Question about parameters of CreateMaterClip() call

I am creating placeholder for masterclip using the CreateMasterClip() Interplay WS. There are unknown optional argument described in Avid Interplay WS 3.0 Internal Release Reference Guide, they are BoxX, BoxY, BoxWidth and BoxHeight.

An example listed by Reference Guide is as follows,

            <typ:BoxX>-800</typ:BoxX>
            <typ:BoxY>-450</typ:BoxY>
            <typ:BoxHeight>900</typ:BoxHeight>
            <typ:BoxWidth>1600</typ:BoxWidth>

Could you describe meanings of each one?

I confirmed I can create master clip without those arguments. But can I ask what happens inside Interplay when I ignore those? Default value used? If so, what is the default value?

Re: Question about parameters of CreateMaterClip() call

    tiidavid,

The "box" parameters in CreateMaterClip() are optional. The parameters are used by Interplay MAM systems. They specify the viewable area for the video media. The default values are null.

So if you are using Interplay Production without a connected MAM system you can simply ignore them.

If you are using a connected MAM system, please let me know, and I'll track down the parameters to use.

    - Rob
