Best method to have producer log footage?

Going to be receiving countless hours of footage from an offsite producer for a documentary.  What's the best method to allow them to roughly log the footage?  Am I able to export a tab file of the bin with thumbnails for them to log, then re-import into MC?

    Hi

I have done this many times- see what software they have and if they can read the files with TC - if they can just take all the footage and xtranfer to portable HD - they can then screen that is if they can read the files

you can also make low rex TC burn ins of the footage in quicktime - you will need to compress - then brake up the footage and post it on drop box - time consuming but they will be able to screen everything
