    Full Screen Playback in MC8.10

I have just returned my Edit 1 PC to Windows 7 (clean install,it was windows10; but I was having problems). Then I went to a clean install of MC8.10.

Just in the process of setting up my user profiles and discovered that invoking 'Full Screen Playback' just causes both monitors to go black. Windows task bar is still visible and I can launce the Task monitor, which reports that MC is not responding. I can end the task and re-launch MC.

    Any ideas?

I just worked with support on the same problem and mine also worked one time and then would not go to full screen.

Wound up bring the graphics card-- Quadro should be at  385.08 latest version
Then go to Nvidia control Panel

    Can you try this next:

Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel (by right clicking on desktop):

    - Under Manage 3D settings > Global Settings > Use Base Profile and select Prefer Maximum Performance for the Power Management Mode
    - On the Program Settings tab > Select Avid Media Composer > CUDA - GPUs, select "Use These GPUs" and then check Quadro K2000D
    - Open GL Rendering GPU > Quadro K2000D
    - Power management mode > Prefer maximum performance
    - Threaded optimization > on
    - Triple buffering > on
    - Vertical sync > on

Then launch Media Composer and check.
