    DNxIO HBA Cheesegrater?

    Hey Folks,

I've read the WIC's (woman in charge) official doc but I am wondering what third party cards you folks might have found work with the DNxIO that will also work in a 2009 legacy Mac Pro.

Anybody using something like that?  Is it standard SAS?  I have an ATTO H680.  Will that work?

    Thanks,

    Robert

So,  weak moment in my brain.

It needs an HIB card which extends the PCIe bus.

Still would like to find a cheaper solution than Avid's $400 one.

I use the Blackmagic PCI Express Cable Kit with the Avid DNxIO on a 2009 MacPro. No problems at all.
