Import panasonic footage EVA 1 camera

I will edit a feature next week and the file I have been sent to test on my machine are from a Panasonic EVA 1. I installed the Panasonic plug in to read AVC intra footage 4.9.01 and activated the extension. I run AVid 8.8.5

Still the footage appear as black image when I import and green image without sound when I link to AMA.

    Can anybody help ?

I had the same problem. The link to the codecs are posted included here:

After installing and trying to import the Panasonic footage, I was still getting the black screen. I found the workaround to be:

    - Import the AMA link clips to Avid via the source browser

    - transcode the AMA clips to the desired avid codec
