    Relinking sequence using linked media

    Hi

I'm using the Avid issued 'RC instructor bin'  that has sequences linked to the Avid training media 'Rock Climber QTs'.

Previously instructor bin sequences have linked fine to the QTs. Strangely the sequences automatically link to the wav files, but not the AVCHD QTs.

I've linked to the clips in another bin and tried "link to selected in open bins" with no success.

Any suggestions how to get these sequences back online are appreciated.

You may have to manually link them and change the AMA plugin. Its probably using one pluging and the other will work.

The AVC Movs are using the "Avid Generic Plug-in in source browser.

How can I select a different AMA plugin?

In the Source Browser, you can right-click that field and if there are other options, you can choose from them.

    Thanks Kevin.

I'll try using QT instead, as I'm also experiencing "AMAProducerTask::Execute: AMA Plug-in Unable to Provide Sample " errors when trimming the material.

    Thanks Pat.

You're right. If I use the QT AMA plug-in, all links as it should.

The Avid Generic plug-in even reports the video as AVC rather than H264.

    regards
