Go to the and mount the "effects" toolset. If you don't see the large window, "restore current to default" will bring it back.

Open the site settings window from your special menu and drag desired user settings into it.

Go to the and mount the "effects" toolset. If you don't see the large window, "restore current to default" will bring it back.

Alternatively, you can ALT+click on the Effects Mode button and get it that way.

Re: how do I get a big single composer window in FX mode?

I seem to have a different default: The default are 2 small composer windows. I guess I have to pull it large then save in toolset. But how do I get it single and large?

Grab the left side of the source record monitor window and drag to the right until you have a single monitor.

Re: how do I get a big single composer window in FX mode?

I accidentally found a command-something hot key to go from two windows to a single window but I cannot remember what it is.

    Does anyone know?
