My Current System Specs

Now Newer Avid Certified MacBook Pro version 8.3 early 2011 with Core i7 (2720 QM) Quad 2.2 GHz CPU with a 6 MB Shared L3 Cache , 16 GB of DDR 3 - 1333 MHz system RAM (PC3-10600) installed in pairs (2x8 GB). This MacBook Pro has a serial ATA 750 GB 5400 RPM mechanical hard drive. The MacBook also has an 8X DL "SuperDrive," which seems to be slowly busting and will probably require being replaced (??). The Graphics are made up of two different cards - AMD Radeon 6750M with 1 Gig of GDDR 5 VRAM. Also an Intel HD Graphics 3000 card which shares 384 MB with the system RAM. The MacBook Pro replaces an HP 8730w EliteBook laptop with Dream Color Screen, which was running MC 6.5.5x with Quicktime 7.7.2 Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz CPU with L2 Cache of 6 MB, nVidia Quadro FX 3700M with 1 Gig of dedicated RAM, Seagate Momentus XT *Hybrid SS 320 GIG system HDD, 4 Gigs of System DDR2 800 MHz RAM updated to Windows 7 Professional Business 64. Quicktime 7.6.9. IT FREAKEN BLEW UP AND SMOKED !!! The Hp EliteBook replaced my original Avid certified HP laptop, which also blew up and smoked !!! Also running MC 4.0.5.16x on iMAC version 9.1 24 inch (September 2009) with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 64 Bit OS, 8 Gigs of DDR 3 1067 MHz system RAM, Intel 3.06 GHz Core 2 DUO 2nd generation CPU with L3 Cache with 6 MB. nVIDIA GeForce GT 130 with 512 MB of dedicated on board GDDR 3 RAM. The iMAC didn't blow up or melt (Yet ?) I'm still using it. I'm still planning to leave MC 4.0.6.16 running on my old iMAC to run with my HD Adrenaline, which is on its second HD board after the first one also, you guessed it, blew up !
