  • Re: AMA update gone all wrong!

Thanks George. But I'm afraid that was the driver i installed in the first place: 1.0.3 I've got the file here and it is called 'XPMW103' so has to be right. Now the issue is not with the Canon driver (which installs fine), the issue is with the Avid MXF Plugin. I've got version 1.4 x86 installed but it does not work. I'm starting

Blimey.. Thanks for that Larry! I think the real fix for me right now would be go home grab a bite to eat and perhaps have a nice pint or cup of tea perhaps. Which is always an option. FYI it was kinda working before. Just not well enough i thought! Obviously - thought wrong.. ;) I was taking in about 80% of the media with no real issues it was just

  • Re: No Timecode track on some imports

Great, thanks for that Dylan. That may well resolve the issue. I've noticed this particular Avid does only seem to have the standard AMA driver wheras the machine next door will consolidate/transcode the same media to 'Canon XF305' so obviously has the correct one. Thanks for the link and I'll install the specific driver which should

  • No Timecode track on some imports

Hello Sorry if this is something regular, I've had a quick browse through the forums and done some googling but hoping to get a quick answer so here goes: We've got about 10hrs test footage, soon could well be a lot more. I'm hoping to get the workflow nailed ahead of time and am finding that about 1 in 15 clips are losing their timecode
