  • Re: 4k project workflow

The files are from FS7 cameras, 264mb/s, 4096*2160 at 29.97 are the specs. (My drive array test= 930mb/s) I should have been more precise in the question on workflow, meaning that I don't understand how the proxy workflow works. I already tried opening a 720 project and linked the files, but it does not work, I guess the link still has to work with

  • 4k project workflow

I am about to do my fiirst 4k project. I know my system can handle 9 streams in 720p, but I am going nowhere with 4 streams at 4K, so before I start going crazy transcoding and importing I would like to know a recommended workflow. Thanks! J

  • Re: MMOB From HyperDeck Studio Mini

Solution found. The Hyperdeck Studio Mini creates a .exc file for every clip recorded. Since i'm using a Mac I decided to deleted the first one in the folder. Now the files are seen as usual.

I'm not AMA linking, the BM's record in the DnxHD Format, you simply copy them in the mentioned folder and it creates the MMOB, is just that with this particular deck, the mini studio, is not happening. I will try your suggestion and try to create the file from the original document. Is the first time I use a Mini Studio, the files created on

  • Re: Is there a better way?

I have tried this, but again, the files are long live events-2hr min- and the proccess always get stuck, or and error shows, etc..., What I have manage to do is AMA them, make 20 min sub clips and them transcode them. This works but its time , very much, silly long time consuming. Sometime it would be better to play the files and capture them but, who

  • Is there a better way?

Ok, from my blackmagic recorder, which is "Avid Compatible", I copy the created mxf files to AvidMediaFiles>MXF>1Folder and I drag the MMOB to a bin and -tada!!!- the files show up in my bin as clips. Nice! Now... Any other format, lets take AVCHD, I convert them to DNxHD .mov - supposedly "Avid Compatible"- using Pavtube and
