• Re: Audio metadata not importing right

Has anyone found a solution to this? Having the same trouble with our sound dept, the usual workaround is using OMF media, but this is a mess on the Avid side and an extra rebatch to omf session isn't much of a choice due to time issues. I came across this http://duc.avid.com/showpost.php?p=2186544&postcount=7 but haven't got the time (or
Hope it doesn't become a regular occurrence.
Well, it happened again. This time I created an audio mixdown (no problems) and exported as a reference movie. An audio mixdown is something i can live with, it's just one mix track without any effects, so that's quite fast. Video ixdown or same as source
Have you tried mixing down the audio only and exporting a reference with that, using export selected tracks,
Yes, mixdowns for both of video and audio, exporting video mixdown and audio clips, audio mixdowns and videoclips, both mixdowns. The last one worked(what a surprise)
and have you tried exporting it without the text at

It's a sequence full of dailies, so there's always video present. There are plenty of MOS takes, but I checked with other sequences which also contain silent takes and they rendered perfectly fine.

Will try, but not today. Todays reel rendered without any hiccups. Weird. Will keep you posted.
What if you do a short section as a QT ref and check that?
No dice. Several parts: different single takes, multiple takes, takes with sound mixed with MOS takes - doesn't seem to matter.
What if you do a short section as a QT ref and check that?
Will try when I'm done with my dailies.
Also try a short SAS export as you already have the mixdowns.
This is what I ended up with and it worked like a charm. The export was quite fast, because of the mixdowns I figure. The whole

  • QT reference out of sync

Good morning, I got a situation here: I exported a QT reference movie from a sequence and it's completely out of sync. Using an audio mixdown and video mixdown doesn't change anything. It's the only sequence so far in this project that fails when exporting. Does that sound familiar to anyone, any pointers, clues? Thanks in advance, J. Avid
