Different version of Media Composer from the rest maybe?

I have a strong suspision this was because we were still on an old shared storage (ISIS) but using a newer Media Composer. All the Avids that were linking to media on the newer shared storage client manager (NEXIS) displayed the little lines under the masterclip icons, indicating they were online.

Anyone have issues with sorting clip types (Master clips, audio clips, subclips) in a bin (list view)? All the columns in my bin seem to sort properly except for the clip type. No changes occur when I try double-clicking at the top of this column or command E.

This issue was solved. It was an SDI signal being converted to HDMI with a Blackmagic converter that was "wigging out" when changing from one frame-rate to another within the Avid. Switched out with an AJA i/o box seems to have done the trick.

The TV is used essentially as a client monitor and the Avid signal goes through an SDI patchbay that is located in a different room. It may be an interlaced issue, but none of the material I'm working with (24 or 23.976) is interlaced.

Why is it that when I'm cutting in a 24 FPS project, everything looks fine, both in my source and record monitors as well as on my external large flat screen TV hookup, but when I switch to a 23.976 project, the image on the TV has ghosting when playing a clip? Just curious what determines when Avid creates a new numbered folder within the MXF folder structure. All the ones currently on my system are different file sizes and have a different quanity of files in each so how does Media Composer decide when it's time for a new numbered folder?

Is there an option in Media Composer to continue playback when you hit the fast-forward and rewind buttons? I'd like for my sequence to keep playing when jumping to the next (or previous) cut instead of having to hit fast-worward, then spacebar again to keep the sequence playing.
