  • audio gain consistency check failure

I was publishing to Local Drive and got an error message, sound related. It says ADMC Master Record ..... Set up For Auto Gain. Consistency Check Failure. The result is that all audio is only audible when turned up the volume everywhere and even then very distant and vague. I had to increase the volume of most clips because they were not loud enough

  • publish to VIMEO

Hi, I want to publish a 7 minute sequence from MCF to VIMEO. When I try that, I first get a window in which I can set the quality of the video. I chose better, because best is 6 GB. I guess to big for internet. The project is 1020. I want as good quality as possible, because it is a showreel. When I click VIMEO, MC opens a publish-window where I can

  • Re: bin corrupted?

Ok, thanks. I followed the instructions and it seems to work. But the bins open in the left top corner of MCF, in a way that I cannot move them or delete them. They are stuck in the corner and have no closing or minimizing buttons, so not a line with name and those buttons. Could I do something to change this?

  • bin corrupted?

MCF crashed. Had to exit with Task Manager. On opening MCF, one bin did not appear. It contains the last work. In the Attic I find 3 versions of that bin. I can't open any of them. I tried it with File/Open Bin, but nothing happens when I select one of the three bins. Are they corrupted? Should I accept this loss?

  • Re: Saving Project

I am really trying to find my way through all accessible tutorials on internet, but for MCF I do not find a clear way to save my project in a way that makes me trust that I can open it later with all asociated media. For MC there are good youtube video's but for MCF there aren't. When I go to the Attic, I can't see any recent files of my

  • Re: Saving Project

Hi Leo, Thanks for your reply. I found 2 folders. Avid Projects and MC First Avid Projects. Both are empty. I have saved all bins with clips and sequence. In MCF there is no such thing as Saving Project. So, I hope that saving bins will do, but fear that that is not enough. I could use some more assistance. Rob

  • Saving Project

I try to find my way through the basics of MCF. I just did a small project that I want to save in a way that I can find and open it easily on a later moment. I have understood that you cannot save a project in AMC. So, I have made a BackUp Folder to where I Save Bin Copy As the bins with linked clips and sequence. I suppose these are safe in this way
