Is there a particular audio plugin that's known to cause this? And how do I go about uninstalling it?
It is probably worth trying this. On your desktop create a new folder and call it Avid Audio Plug-Ins Go to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins folder. (Windows 10 pro address path) Open

My test was quick and performed with the my cursory interest as a user who gave up on this panel with Avid 3 years ago. Hopefully this discussion will provoke some serious, regular users of the Color
Can anyone confirm responsiveness with the Color hardware?
This is only a very quick, out of interest, look at the Colour Panel here with MC 2018.2. Up until now I had not considered turning this panel on for MC or Symphony during the last 36 months. With MC the controls are much much more responsive than I remember

Explain what form the media was on the laptop. Was it Linked (AMA)? Was it imported (Avid Media created)? Linked and Transcoded? If Avid media was created you should be able to copy all of the Avid MediaFiles\MXF\number folders from the laptops media drive into the other machines Avid MediaFiles\MXF\ folder. (You may need to give the copied folders

  • Re: How do I extend an audio clip past its original parameters?

One way. With the required clip into a new timeline use Add Edit to cut the clip 1 frame from the end. Insert edit X seconds of filler at the add edit point to extend the timeline out beyond where it is needed. Go back to the clip and trim it 1 frame forward so the clip is back to the original length. Mark in at the start of the timeline and Mark Out
