  • Re: Canon XF100 Files

Gto new 12 core apples and have CS6 on them. Seems like Premier brings everything in seemless with no issues. Every file I import just comes in. Now Avid has to transcode everything and I work with all sorts of differnet files. I also mapped the avid keyboard so keystrokes are no an issue. In the big picture why does Avid have to transcode everything

  • Canon XF100 Files

Have had a Canon XF100 for a few months and its an awesome camera when used with DSLR'S. My only gripe is when i put the cf card in the reader I hit import and I it wont let me import the whole file. I then have to open each file and then import the MXF file. When you are doing a big shoot it is a pain. Premier will bring in the whole file and then

When i shoot in 1080p 24 with a Canon that has MXF files it imports into Avid fine. But when I try to do a qt ref out it works but the video clip plays on the hard drive but there the video is black and their is no audio. If i try to do qt same as source i get the error that this is a long gop and i need to transcode. Its not a long gop it 1080p 24

Yes 27 gigs. We have no HD tape machine to back up. You can move the project to a SD project and then roll it out to DVCAM sd tape. I guess that is better than nothing 5 years from now. I just wonder why 70 percent of these files were clean and 30 percent were corrupt on the blue ray burn. Also I noticed when i put it on a card and bring it in the Avid

I exporting Avid files from mvx camera out. I am using Avid 1x1. The final edit is going to be done in premier. Is Avid 1x1 the best quality. It is going to take 2 blue ray disks to hold all of them. We do tons of inspirational videos like you do for law enforcement and the storage of these files is starting to become a big problem. After we shoot we

When we shoot we copy the data files over to blueray and then reuse the card. When i tried to bring in the files around 30 percent of them had video that was corrupted and tearing from the blueray disk. One of the most important shots I would get the error message MXF DOMAIN INTIALK FAILES. It is a canon camera and the files are MXF files. It is the
