• Re: I need your recommendation for a good pc that can work with GH5 4K 10bit 4:2:2
I was hoping to get at least a few replies so anyone can help ????
I suggest reaching out to GH5 users wherever they hangout, then look for a connection to MC and a particular computer. You can try Creative Cow forums as well as DPreview. If you know of a link to download GH5 samples, you might find some folks
Thanks for your responses and the recommendation of the book! It’s not as cheap here in the UK, got it for £30 but still think it’s worth it!
You're very welcome. The East book is the best, imo and I think I got them all. The Tracking section is awesome. Soon, you will be the one

  • Re: Re-associate Group Clips with Different Bins for "Find Bin"
Does anyone know if there is a way to re-associate clips with different bins so that when you do a "Find Bin" command, it opens the bin you edited them out of rather than the bin they were originally created in? This seems to be happening specifically with group clips. "Find Bin" keeps trying

  • Re: Batch-Modification of Start-Timecodes

OK, that all makes sense. Mercalli is dynamically correcting the whole clip anyway, in case you are using multiple sections from the same source clip. I did notice 00;00;00;00; upon Link, but if I am not mistaken, I also got 01;00;00;00 upon Import, which is my Default Starting TC in General Setting, In the old days, changing that Setting would change

  • Re: Stabilize handheld shots
I use BCC Optical Stabilizer all the time. Works great for shakey shots or bumps when the camera is on a tripod. But handheld shots never turn out great. The shots hava a weird warpy thing. Anyone reccomend settings that helps with this? Or other software? Thanks
I've never used BCC Optical Stabilizer

Yes! I have been using the Trial version and it is very interesting, so thanks for mentioning it. I can see why you would want an easy Relink or replace workflow. QUESTION: What are you sending to Mercalli? Full camera clips or some kind of Export from the timeline, with or without handles? ALSO: Are you using Linked / Transcoded clips from Mercalli

  • Re: Repositioning frame after SpectraMatte applied?
Hi all- Got a bunch o' green screen interviews to swap the BG out on. Sometimes I would prefer to noodle with the subject's position in the frame. I'm getting the best key using SpectraMatte (per the suggestion of my other editor. The Chroma Keyer isn't powerful enough to handle some of these keys

  • Re: Sorenson Squeeze
Sorenson more less became obsolete as anyone with $50 a month to spend got Adobe Media Encoder and updates along with all the other tools they use like Photoshop, After Effects, etc...
Good Point, I guess they got squeezed somewhere between those Adobe $600/yr for life customers and the MPEG Streamclip no budget
