    Hello Marianna! My apologies for my very late reply. Excelent news you give me! Great the intention do support AVCHD. What I meant abou NXCAM is that it's Sony's AVCHD implementation, as far as I know, sorry for the confusion. About authoring, I own Toast, but it stil doesn't give me the custumization I really need. TAW4 neither, but thanks

    Hello! I've seached the forum before this posting, without finding anything that would help me. For a while there's been a new standard format called NXCAM, which is basically Sony's implementation of the AVCHD codec. There are other brands that are investing in this codec. The bumber of cameras with this recording format / codec is increasing

    Bob, Basicaly, what you're saying is that Media Composer doesn't natively support the AVCHD format? Only Pinnacle Studio which is not available for Mac? Being the case, do you think AMA will have a plug-in for AVCHD? Thanks in advance, Miguel

    Thanks Guys. I'Ve had no problemas whatsoever in the past, but I'll check the versions and yes it's MC 3. I myself crossed my fingers when I installed it, but it has been working smoothly, for over a year - in fact until 2 days ago. I'll also try Kevin's suggestion, since it's onley a 12 minute video due for... yesterday... After

    Hello! I've searched the forum for hours before I made this post so If I'm posting e recurring issue I apologize. I've been trying to export e very small video of 12 minutes using quicktime. Strangely at aproximately 1/3 of progress the counter keeps on going, biut the estimated time dissapears along with the estimated time. I tried to push
